Phoebe Dalmatian, the mother, is the village's trusted fashion advisor. Everyone looks forward to her advice, which is clear, straightforward and delivered with confidence.

Mark Dalmatian, the brother, plays, or rather rolls around outside every day. By the time he comes home, the clothes chosen by his fashion-loving parents are so muddy that their original pattern is no longer visible.
